As a 19 year old college student, I had a hard time finding part time employment for this past summer. I graduated Smithtown High School West in 2009 and had trouble finding employment ever since. I was working in the morning at Smithown Recreation as a summer camp counselor, but was not making quite enough money. My Dad said they were looking for help at the Port Jeff Motorcycle Store so I applied and was hired. I really enjoyed working in Chandler Square. The scenery is beautiful and the people are great. I love the friendly vibe of the store as well as the others surrounding it. I could not have asked for a better place to spend my summer, I had a lot of fun working at PJMC and I’m looking forward to this comming summer as well!

Thank you for your post and sharing your feeling about Port Jeff and working in the PJ Motorcycle Store. It was a real pleasure working with You and I can’t tell you how many customers who told me what a nice person you are and how helpful you where. You really have a gift with talking and helping people. Hope to see you when you get back from college!
This is so true! But getting a job at the PJMC store with ken has been a blast! Working here is amazing! talking to all the people that come downtown, eating all the best food! Especially the ice cream. Can’t wait for you to come back from college so we can work together again and share a banana boat!
