Port Jefferson is getting ready to host the 16 Annual Dickens Festival 0n Dec 2-4th, 2011. Port Jeff will be transformed into a “Victorian Village by the Sea” with events featuring costumed Dickens and Victorian characters, decorated streets and shops, Victorian era entertainment with many of the local restaurants serving a special Dickens inspired menu. Events are planned all around Port Jefferson. You will find lots of musical performances, Father Christmas and live reindeers, an old-fashioned marketplace on East Main Street, carriage and trolley rides, a lantern-lit house tour of historic homes. Even a Grand Final Parade on Sunday!
