Today, Mayor Margot Garant is urging everyone to participate in New York State’s “Spend $25 on the 25th” campaign! This campaign is designed to urge all residents and friends of Port Jefferson to visit the village and spend $25 while shopping this day. This campaign will give you an easy way to help support our local merchants, and with so many unique shops and boutiques in Port Jefferson, you are sure to find something that you can’t find anywhere else!
So please, this Saturday, September 25th, join Mayor Margot Garant and the rest of the Village of Port Jefferson and spend $25 in our beautiful village! I look forward to seeing you around!

Sorry folks in my opinion it’s going to take a lot more than asking, to keep people coming to Port Jeff this fall. If you want people to come to Port Jeff , you need to give them a little better reason than come to Port Jef than come and spend your money! What do you think?
I appreciate anything that helps…. maybe we will get some celebratory or sympathetic sales….
A second year without the music festival… parking meters chasing people away… adressing these issues would be a better idea….
