On Saturday November 6, 2010 Pirates and The HMS Bounty will be in Port Jeff Harbor! According to Mayor Garant, the Village has approved the request made by “Here’s To Us” to use Port Jefferson Village as their backdrop to shoot their television show, Bound for NBC TV. AD Marketing Solutions and Here’s To Us are inviting local businesses, village residents and all visitors to come down and get involved . This unique event promises to be a fun weekend for all! We plan to keep everyone updated as plans for this event unfold. As of now the plans are :
- Filming Of a TV show on HMS Bounty and in Port Jeff Village
- Pirate Festival with Pirates in and about the Port Jeff
- Catered Cocktail hour on the HMS Bounty and after, dinner in participating local restaurants. Participating restaurants including Fifth Season, Village Way, Tommy’s Place, The Pie, Z-Pita and others.
- Entertainment in participating restaurants
- A chance to be drawn for a role on the upcoming TV show
- Weekend of festivities in the Port Jeff Village
- Music video is also be filmed and a ‘Charity Donation is planned

Post Update – Well the Pirates and the HMS Bounty have been delayed. Apparently pirates have seasonal contracts and Pirate Ships have maintenance problems! Organizers are trying to reschedule this event for 2012. Keep tuned for future news!
