A moment in time from Port Jefferson’s Heart Warming Winterfest. No photo shop here, just the ice sculpture’s view of people watching the ice sculptor creating another ice sculpture.
Mill Creek Rd was closed for the winterfest and IceSculptureDesign sent one of their artists to create ice sculpture for the afternoon. He started with a block of ice and with a variety of power and hand tools and alot of creativity was able to create neat sculptures while explaining the tools and techniques of the trade.
So what happened to the sculptures? Well nothing lasts forever but as one might expect, each day the sculptures got smaller and then one day they were gone.!
