Girl Friends Go Ice Skating in Port Jefferson

Last night some friends and I went skating at the Village Center in Port Jeff. It was absolutely beautiful. The weather was warm and inviting, the sky had a dusky overtone, and the rink was beautifully lite to reflect the festive time of Christmas in Port Jeff.  We were able to skate for 1 hour and a half at an extremely inexpensive price. I would highly encourage any new visitors to consider this as a definite winter activity. If skating isn’t for you,  you can view the rink up stairs in the enclosed observation deck. Filled with comfortable seating which is toasty warm, it’s a great way to pass a few winters hours in Port Jefferson.
