Sept 11, 2001 started as a beautiful September day, as I remember there was a little chill in the air with a bright beautiful blue sky. What unfolded that day will be remembered forever. As a nation we saw the horror, as Americans we know about the many heroes who responded that day, we now know a little about the victims and the pain their families endure and we know about America’s response to the brutal attacks.
As a country, 9/11 forced many of us, to relearn a lesson which history has taught us time and time again. I wasn’t a great student but my father a World War Two Vet, clearly taught me “It’s only the home of Free because of the brave”. The other day a young Marine came into my store and I thanked him for his service. His response made me proud to be an American. The Marine shook my hand and said ”It’s an honor to serve.”
God Bless America! The World needs to Know, We will never Forget 9/11/2001.
